Stryker 497hpc
I have a stryker 497hpc on the bench from my local truck shop. (version with 2078 predriver mosfet driver 4 mosfet in amp section) when I first looked at it 6 months ago it had let out the magic smoke in the amp section. I told him to send it out because it beyond my skill level. but 6 months later its still sitting there. so I told him I would give a whirl. Long story short. I replaced the 4 13n10 . after some research I think it had IRF520 from factory and had been replaced ounce with the 13n10. It works pretty good now but obviously needs alignment . I can't find alignment info for this online. cb tricks has it for the original single final 497 but not this version. I want do the bias and its running 800hz slow. If anyone has a schematic and alignment point I sure would appreciate the info and think I could get it back to A plus condition

Re: Stryker 497hpc
Thanks for the lead Nosaj definitely helpful , guess I better get a junk surface mount board and do some practicing. I've watched some other vids from Mikes radio in the past he's good at taking time to explain things for us less knowledgeable newbie wannabee techs. On the radio I have the transistor next to the surface mount cap to remove is soldered in hard on an angle right over top of it. Wish me luck
