I picked up a mini mag 30 watt radio. I had it tuned and the shop tech told me that it does indeed kick out 30 watts, but receive is just so-so.
Does anyone have any experience with this radio?

I have seen them,, been told they won't do more than 20w,, personally I'm a SSB'er so it wouldn't be my choice of radio.
