contex 150 model 6915 amplifier

Have a old contex 150 model 6815 tube linear amplifier..has 4/6JG6A and 1/6BO5 in it. Replaced all the 6JG6A tubes with ONS GE Tubes and a Hubbard 6BO5. Has anyone owned/used this unit in the past? The amp was marketed by several companys..as ABC/APOLLO/ECHO/OSM..etc! I'm going to have the unit checked over tech before I even plug it in the wall outlet! I really want to know if its worth saving or not! Thanks.

All the swing tube amps from back in the day were nice, only real problem was the owners overdriving them turning it into a splatter box. Clean in equals clean out.
As far as worth, that depends now a days on how good it looks and how much money you want to spend to get it right.
