My daughter was renting a townhouse, (I'm from a day they were called "rowhomes"), I built a "Zepper" antenna and installed it in the vent pipe, no one was the wiser, never even asked why the pipe was sticking 12ft above the roof. I'm guessing it's still in there, she moved out a couple years ago.

The antenna is nothing more than a coax that is fed at the top with a pipe (soft roll copper tubing, coax pushed thru it, center conductor soldered to the tube). The tubing was zip tied inside the 2" pipe. I think the tube ended up being about 17ft long, took a few tries at getting he SWR right. A choke or several snap ferrites (I used both) are required where the coax came through the pipe into the house (seal the hole with silicone) and reconnected the waste pipe with a fernco coupler.
