Improve AM audio

#402057

Post by Fisherman100 »

Hi everyone,
I'm looking for a solution to improve my AM audio TX. I'm actually using a Magnum S9 for Am Dxing on 11 meters. Do you know a better radio for doing this. It can be a Ham radio. Looking for a radio with a better AM bandwidth to improve the bass and the highs. I think the Magnum s9 is doing a bandwidth of 300 to 2800. Thank's for advice.

CB radios have limited bandwidth. They are designed simply for comms. Most all need modded for more bandwidth. Google direct injection, that is bypassing the audio chain. You can go through the stock mic with processed audio for a little better audio, but with direct injection, the world of sound is in your control.
