Cobra 25 LTD vs Cobra 25 NW
I was wondering if there is any difference in these two radios... The stats over at sparks say they are similar, just wondering because on the 25 LTD Sparky`s says that they are excellent radios that tune up well and on the NW it says nothing about that.. Just wondering...
Also are they good radios for the money, not looking to purchase a really expensive one right now...

I have a 25 LTD/WX Classic and it's a good radio. I get compliments all the time on how well it sounds. It sounds Super with a DM452 mic that B/B turned me on to.
I can tell you this, the radio works OK with a K30 antenna but you'll have terrible weather reception with their antenna because they limited the band width on the reception side (sound right?). The Wilson Antenna (500) works 10 times better. I had 2 people tell me 30 minutes ago I sounded like I was on a a base station! My weather reception quadrupled. This setup needs grounds, grounds, grounds. You can never have enough grounds. But when it's set up, it soounds super and you won't have to mess with it. Hope this helps you with your decision making. (I went with the Wilson 500 strictly for appearance on my Blazer, the 1000 is even better and only a few bucks more)
