I have a lead on a Digital Oscilloscope "HP" I cant buy both Which should I get The MJF259C or the Scope?

I would say it depends on what your shop needs are. The scope is a very useful tool in all electronics. SWR could be checked with a economical meter if your cable and all the other little CB gremlins are okay. Just my thoughts.

You could get both: Unless you use scopes frequently and need high spec and/or digital functionality then used analog scopes are abundant and can be bought cheaply -- a good rule of thumb is only pay $1 per MHz (i.e pay $30 for a 30MHz scope). The issue there, of course, is are they in good operating order so the need to see them in operation before buying becomes important.

Another thing to consider when buying a scope is: does it come with a set of good probes?

I would go for the antenna analyzer before the scope, watching a bunch of squiggly lines on a screen isn't any help if the standing wave is bad. JMO.
