Saw this amp today. Spelled "Penetrater" rather than "Penetrator". Says serial number 60414 on the bottom of it. Google didn't find me this exact one, but I saw others (bigger ones). Anyone familiar with it?

I would have to agree with it being 20 years old. There were so many different manufactures back then, sometimes good luck finding information.

I believe these were an early version or a clone to the OutCom brand name which later turned into Texas Star. What transistors does it use should give you an idea of who made it.

I'm pretty sure it is only a 2 pill, did you open it up to see what the transistors were? My guess is they are MRF's.

Greg,
I didn't. Saw it in a shop. Inquired about buying it. The gentleman said he wanted to check and make sure it worked before selling it to me. I'm waiting to hear back. What would you say it's worth? I asked him a price and he said "I'll figure that out."
