Direct Burial Coax or PVC

Has anyone pulled Coax through 125 feet of 1 1/2” PVC with some 45 degree turns?

Has anyone direct buried coax?

You don't need but half that...and Yes to both.

You can even run it threw a water hose...

PVC plastic pipe one and half inches in diameter about 100 feet or so . Just wondering about the 45 degree turns in the plastic pipe. Also garden house is a good idea also. But the plastic pipe is already installed from previous homeowner.

shouldn't be a problem...If it keeps getting hung-up in the turns, you may need to remove the connector plug if it's on...

The stiffer'LMR400 or RG213 should be fairly easy to snake threw...RG 58 or the mini-8 stuff would probably need some help to get threaded threw...

I would use 1-1/2 PVC. Easiest way to pull coax is with a electricians fish tape. I think using PVC is better because if you have a problem you can remove and replace the old coax without having to dig it up again. Then again some people like to dig??

If you don’t have a fish tape 100 ft long wad up some clear tape so it loosely fits and some light string, use a shop vac to draw it thru. With 1 1/2 pipe, I’d pull a couple lines thru in case you want another antenna someday, would save pulling out the coax and redoing it.

45 degree bends are easy, it's the 90 degree bends that are tough
