Really like the M400, but I'm in Eastern North Carolina, and hurricanes come with the territory. Do y'awl think either of these antennas, especially the M400, would survive a hurricane? Thanks in advance.

The only antenna I lost to weather was in 78', my Moonraker 4 broke the top 4 element to ice and 50+mph winds, you would have thought the horizontal elements would have too. The M400 only has roughly 9ft above the mounting point where the A-99 has 17+ft, then fiberglass is a little more pliable than aluminum. For me I'd go with the M440, just would wish Antenna Specialist ( the original Starduster manufacturer) was still around.
