Once in a while I have to toss some HAM into my CB salad lol. Half way though this recording I realized that I was still on my 11 meter Mr Coily .64 wave ground plane. Rather than switching over to my 80 meter loop antenna in the middle of the recording, I just let things be.

The one guys call sign is NJ2US. For the other fella, am I hearing W8DVU?? NJ2US calls him by name (Bill) but when you look up his call sign it is under the name Howard. Even my closed caption can't pull out what they are saying. The reason I am being so nosy is that I would like to add the call sings into the video description. I wish more operators would slow it down a tad when giving their call signs. The many years of being a rock musician took its toll on my ears. I can hear pitches and tones to the point where it drives me nuts, but words I have a hard time with. Ya I know, pretty weird lol. Any help would be appreciated.

Those guys on ECARS are great, I checkin every chance I get. There are other ham nets on during the day, SCARS, MCARS, etc., just tune up or down a few kc’s. Always good vid’s KP.

Thank you my friend. I really like NJ2US audio. Nothing crazy or bombastic, just good old fashioned analog sounding audio at 3.3kc. By AM standards it's very narrow as you are aware, but he knows how to use every bit of it to sound great. Even though I love anything and everything about radio I'm always a little hesitant to put HAM related things on my CB YouTube channel but from time to time I like to sprinkle a little bit in there to give some of my fellow CB'ers a peek into the wide world of HAM SSB.
