40 meter TX test on the 80 meter loop with W3DEP and NX3F

Even though my YouTube channel is CB radio related, I like to toss some ham into the radio salad now and again. For my 80 meter loop antenna, I swapped out my 1 to 1 BALUN with a 4 to 1 BALUN and I am using an LDG AT-1000pro2 auto tuner. After I make a change to an antenna system or introduce anything new into the chain, I like to run low power for a time until I am confident all is well. This is a test running my Ameritron AL-80B for the first time after making these changes. Since this is the first TX using power, I can tell how distracted I was because I was keeping a close eye on my equipment while talking. Better safe than sorry! This hobby is becoming incredibly expensive and I want to make sure I don't fry my hard earned equipment.

Thank you! Ya, I hear ya on the honey do list. Between my work schedule and a whole lot of other stuff, this was the first time in about a year I got a chance to work on my antenna. Looking forward to you getting up and running so we can hopefully get some talk time in. I'd love to get you on a gate!
