Northpoint NT-9-HP

#67185

Post by as400 »

I have searched but no luck. Just registered to this forum as it seems quite helpful

I own a Northpoint NT9HP and have to turn the knob right or left to get an exact 0 at the 6th decimal. I would like to findout what are the variables inside this radio that I need to tweak to get central frequency alignment both TX and RX for SSB and AM. Not too worried about FM.

I will be tuning it against a kenwood ts140s for approximate XXXXX.0 frequency with FINE and COA both set to 12 o'clock.

Well, thanks for any help in advance.

you really need the proper equipment and knowledge to attempt this..

i would suggest not trying it yourself..

you more then likely will wind up with a radio that doesnt talk or hear good or not at all

I also own a NorthPoint NT9HP and this radio is very unforgiving with anything including viberation...If you dont have the equipment then I'd suggest a good tech.. Mike @ RA can help or any real good tech just make sure their that good...
