PRESIDENT ADAMS HELP PLEASE.

Hi ...
I have an old President Adams 40 ch AM/SSB rig that has a problem, when I key the mic the relay goe's from receive to transmit, the red TX led comes on but there is no output power and the meter needle does not swing on either AM or SSB,
is there a single common fault that may cause this ???
The receive seems to work o.k. as I can hear stations on SSB at times ......... any advice, THANKS.

This sounds like it could be a voltage reg. down on most radios this will affect the tranmitt but not the receave. Check with Mike @ RA he could tell you better but its a start..
